PICK UP / DELIVERY

I live in the New York Metro area. May I pick up my finished medicine cabinet from your shop in Brooklyn?
Certainly, you may pick up your cabinet (by appointment) and avoid the shipping charge. However, we must charge you 8.875% sales tax unless you can provide a resale number.

How do you ship your bathroom cabinets, and how can I find out when mine will arrive?
We ship via UPS ground, and can provide you with a tracking number so you’ll know when to expect delivery. Shipping generally takes one (1) to five (5) days, depending on your distance from our shop in Brooklyn. We also offer next-day and two-day shipping. Please call for details.

CUSTOMIZATION

Could you make a custom-sized medicine cabinet to fit a wall opening I already have in my bathroom?
Yes, we’re a custom-fabrication shop and can work with any dimensions, as long as we feel the resulting cabinet will be attractively proportioned. We can also create a shallower cabinet if necessary, or a deeper one for additional bathroom storage. Price, lead time, and shipping charge may be affected.

Could I have a plain mirror on my cherry cabinet instead of a beveled one?
Yes. Our wood medicine cabinets are also available with a solid-panel door instead of a mirror.

I’d like my medicine cabinet to be right-opening, i.e., the knob on the left and the hinges on the right.
No problem. Our original-design recessed and wall-mounted medicine cabinets are symmetrical and therefore can be installed so the door opens in the direction you prefer. If you plan to order the NEW Wood Essentials Algonquin-5 Medicine Cabinet, you’ll need to specify left-opening or right-opening.

I’d like the hardware on my bathroom cabinets to be oiled bronze. Can you do that?
Yes, you can specify any hardware finish that our supplier, the von Morris Corporation, manufactures. Click here to see the full range of possibilities.

I’d like a surface-mounted cabinet for my Hummel figurine collection. Could I order one with clear glass instead of a mirror?
Yes.

I already have a dark wood vanity in my bathroom. If I send a sample, could you stain my medicine cabinet to match?
For various reasons, we don’t do custom stains or paint colors. However, you can order an unfinished medicine cabinet and apply your own stain or paint. We ship our unfinished cabinets with pieces of scrap wood for the testing of stains or topcoats.

VOLUME DISCOUNTS

I’m redoing all the bathrooms in my castle and I’ll need 23 surface-mounted medicine cabinets. Do you offer a volume discount?
Yes, we do. For three to five cabinets, we offer a 5% discount; for six to nine cabinets, we offer a 10% discount. For ten or more cabinets, we ask that you please call us to discuss.

EXPEDITED ORDERS

The dog ate my order form and now I’m desperate to get my medicine cabinet so my contractor can finish my bathroom renovation. Can you do a rush-order cabinet?
It depends on how busy we are at the time, so please call us. (Our normal lead time is 3 to 5 weeks.) A better approach might be to have your contractor cut the wall opening for your recessed cabinet; then it’s a simple matter to slide and fasten the cabinet in place later.
