FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

General

Are the insides of your cabinets finished?

Yes. Interiors are fully finished to match the outside.

Is it OK to use wood in a bathroom environment?

Yes, as long as the lumber is top quality marine grade, the cabinet is built to precision angles and measurements and properly finished. At Wood Essentials we take personal pride in the quality and durability of each and every cabinet we build.

Can the height of shelves be adjusted?

Yes. The glass shelves rest on pins that can be moved up or down.

Customization

Can you build a cabinet to fit a non-standard space in my bathroom remodeling project?

Yes. Custom sizing is available; price and delivery timing may be affected. Call for details.

Are there any hardware options beyond what is shown?

Yes, you can specify any hardware finish that our supplier, the von Morris Corporation, manufactures.

Can I choose whether the cabinet opens on the left or right?

Cabinets without crown moulding are symmetrical so they can be installed to open from either side. Orders for the Algonquin crown moulding cabinet must specify right or left opening.

Can you match the finish of other objects in my bathroom?

No. Matching finish is best done on site. However we can provide you a fully sanded, unfinished cabinet with sanded scrap samples of the identical wood for finish testing. (Leaving your cabinet unfinished is NOT recommended.)

Multiple Orders

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. 10% off orders of three or more cabinets.

How long does it take to build a Wood Essentials medicine cabinet?
